More often than not, we feel like the little guys. We're part of a small start-up, we only have a few small handfuls of people that work here, and we very much cater to a primary local market. That's not to say we don't serve other parts of the country, or the US, or even anywhere else in the world. In fact, we recently shipped a model all the way to Australia. But when we received a rush order all the way from The Philippines, we were so excited that our little company of love had spread that far. We felt a sense of accomplishment and we felt the pet love halfway across the world. We received an email from a lovely woman named Maria, who was devastated at the recent loss (45 days ago exactly when she ordered) of her beloved shihtzu, Snookie.
When asked about what made Snookie special, she said:
"she was my constant companion, my furry child. She had such loving eyes, I miss the way she looks at me so lovingly. It's as if she understood me whenever I spoke to her. She was also very cuddly, she put my soul at ease every time I would hug her. She passed away 45 days ago and I yearn to see her every day. I don't know if you notice but she has really expressive eyes."
The requested order was for one very specific sitting pose and a surprise post, of our choosing, based on provided photos and a video. A few weeks of back and forth with the design team, and some pretty amazing photoshop pics of what she wanted, we had two models of Snookie printed and ready to ship. We all held our breaths as we waited to find out of our models had successfully survived the journey across the world.
Here is the video Maria was kind enough to send us. You can tell by her reaction that she absolutely loved and misses her Snookie greatly. We are so grateful that you allowed us to capture this memory of her for you.

A beautiful image Maria sent us of her memorial to Snookie in her home. One of her two models of Snookie fit perfectly on the urn lid that contained the ashes of her late companion.
