1. Do you offer returns and refunds?
No. At the present time, we do not offer a return or refund policy. If you are unhappy with your model, please contact us and we will do our best to amend the issue. We have extremely high expectations of ourselves. That being said, as we will elaborate on more below, we do send a digital image for your approval to avoid these issues from occurring.
We understand that seeing PetPrints 3D models for the first time can be both cool and emotional for some people, and sometimes impulse purchases happen. Therefore, we also have a policy where you have 24 hours once payment has been processed to change your mind and let us know. However, our pet sculptures are a work of custom art and each one is done from scratch by a team of extremely hardworking and animal-loving designers. Once the designer has started working on your PetPrints 3D custom pet sculpture, we are unable to offer you a refund.
2. Are the 3D printed sculptures fragile?
Our models are fairly durable, similarly to any ceramic product. They survive the shipping process, which can sometimes consist of rough handling. That being said, they are hard, but brittle. If you drop your PetPrints 3D on a hard surface, they may break. PetPrints 3D are not responsible for damage to your 3D printed models that occurs once they have arrived at your home and have been unboxed.
3. Is the product safe for my kids (or pets) to eat?
Although the products are considered non-toxic, we recommend not letting your children (or pets) put the PetPrints 3D sculptures in their mouths. Children under 13 without adequate adult supervision should not handle them. The standard powder models are non-toxic. The reptiles, printed on a different printer, out of different material, may be. We do not recommend putting them in your mouth.
4. Why is there a tiny hole on the bottom of my PetPrints 3D?
We hollow the models to keep the cost down and offer you the best possible price. The holes can be plugged upon request.
5. What if I want multiple models of my pet in the same pose?
Our policy is that your first print will cost the standard $250.00. Subsequent prints of the same pet in the same pose (reprints) cost 100.00 each. This also applies if you break your PetPrints 3D model and need to buy a replacement. Once the initial art work has been done, we are able to keep the reprint cost relatively low.
6. What type of payment method(s) do you take?
All payment is done up front. The majority of our customers use credit card via PayPal as it is the safest and most convenient way to pay from anywhere. If you are in the GTA and wish to come in to our location at 36 Fieldway Rd., we can take credit, debit, cash or cheque.
7. How long will it take to receive my PetPrints 3D sculpture and where can I receive delivery?
Unless otherwise notified, your product will be shipped to you in approximately 15-20 business days. We can ship anywhere that couriers go. The cost for shipping anywhere in Canada is $20.00 and the US is $25.00. All other international locations will be priced accordingly. Customs charges may apply.
8. Do you make anatomically correct animals?
As a general rule, all of our animals are sculpted gender neutral.
Nonetheless, we are able to make your pet anatomically correct, upon request. Just be sure to provide us with photos that show the animals gender.
9. Will I get to approve a model before it is printed?
One of our PetPrints 3D representatives will be in touch with you once the initial design work is done to show you what we call a "5-up" file; essentially, this is a 5 angle view of your 3D model in jpg form. You will have this one opportunity to provide feedback on the details of your pet from his/her floppy ear to their patterning or anything in between. If you are concerned about a missing view (angle) of your pet model, please ask us and we will try to send it to you. Please take some time doing this feedback as once we receive feedback and the changes are made, we do not send updated files or allow for multiple rounds of feedback. This drastically slows down our process, especially during the holidays. We apologize for the inconvenience. We promise we will do our best with each and every model.
10. Help! I broke the leg off my model! How can I fix it?
We recommend using super glue to repair your models. We use a unique set of materials that often react poorly to adhesives and repairs. We can not guarantee reprints should your model be damaged by third party repair. To ensure your model is fixed by a trained professional in 3D printing materials, please return the model to our production facility.
Your models will be fixed to the best of our ability free of charge. You are, however, responsible for paying all associated shipping charges.
11. How long does it take you to paint the models?
All of our models are digitally sculpted and coloured prior to being 3D printed using full colour inkjet technologies on our specialty blend powder printer.
12. Can I do a rush order?
Yes. A charge of $50.00 may apply. Please specify when ordering or email info@petprints3d.com with the required deadline for receiving your model and someone will confirm with you that your request(s) can be met.
13. How are costs calculated?
Our costs are caluculated based on several considerations including, but not limited to: processing, design, printing and finishing. A visual breakdown can be seen below.
If you have any additional questions that are not on this list, please email info@petprints3d.com and someone will get back to you with an answer as soon as possible, usually within 2-3 business days.
