There comes that inevitable time in every pet owner’s life when we have to see our special fur babies leave us to travel over the rainbow bridge. Even though this place is a happy place where catnip grows abundantly at the side of the road and there’s an endless supply of grass to roll around in, we can’t help but feel… well… like we lost a friend.

Regardless of whether your pet lived a full, great life by your side or if it was tragically cut short due to illness or injury, you can’t seem to shake this feeling of loss. Everyone has experienced it in one way or another and it is a heartbreaking, devastating and confusing time.
Though the memories will last a lifetime, many of wish to honour and commemorate our friends with a special memento or keepsake. Some of us take tokens of hair, ashes, or even blood when they leave us. Some take countless photos and turn them into something meaningful, like a memory board. And then there’s some who will take the taxidermy route… We acknowledge that this isn’t for everyone but there is not one right way to grieve or to memorialize your dearly departed.

None of these options sound very appealing? That's understandable. These are ye ol’ faithful ways of dealing with loss and we’re in 2014! If there was a way that you could have a very distinct, very personal, very unique keepsake that allowed you to admire the very facial expression, the very ear flop and the very nose scrunch that made them special, would you want to know about it?
